Keith Johnstone teaches how to improvise in public, as entertainment. He invented “Theatersports”, Gorilla Theatre” and “Micetro”. He is specialist for Storytelling.

From 1956 to 1966, Keith Johnstone was Associate Director at the Royal Court Theatre, London. Under Johnstone’s direction the famous RCT authors’s studio was created. Writers like John Arden, Arnold Wesker and Edwatd Bond were amongst its members. In 1971 he moved to Canada to teach at Calgary University. There he foundet the “Loose Mooose Theatre” and became its artistic director. He is author of “Impro” (Methuen), one of the best-selling books on improvisation, and “Impro For Storytellers” (Faber and Faber).
