Larry Moss has been an actor and an acting coach for over 30 years and now is one of the most sought after acting coaches of our time. He has worked with many top stars including Helen Hunt, Leonardo diCaprio, David Duchovny, Tea Leoni, Hilary Swank, and many more.
Over the past 12 years, Larry Moss found a new passion in directing. He still manages to continue his passion of teaching holding workshops in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, and Berlin. His book on Acting “The Intent to Live – Achieving your True Potential as an Actor” was released by Bantam Dell in 2004.
Larry Moss is known for his ability to respond to the individual personality of the actor and to bring out the unique qualities of the artist’s personality. He starts from a profound script analysis, and then applies his technique of interpretation, on the basis of Stanislavski and his American successors, with the objective to bring script and character to life in a truthful and original way.
The active participants do prepare a scene of 10 to 15 minutes, having two equal characters. If you apply by yourself, you will get email contact to find a scene partner. The scene has to be prepared well, preferable in English language. The participants are expected to be prepared according to the given circumstances of the scene and character, having researched specifically in full detail, including requisites, costume, dialect etc and having explored the character in detail. Larry Moss will coach each scene minimum twice during the Master Class.
